The things nobody tells you about pregnancy

Have you recently found out you’re expecting? Well congratulations! Being pregnant is definitely a magical experience you should be extremely excited about, however there are a few things you should be expecting that people DON’T tend to warn you about.

Here are five things nobody tells you about pregnancy!

Your dreams are about to get strange ….. very strange!

Did anybody else experience the crazy dreams? And let me tell you, they can get scary …. really scary. And also really strange. From the weird to the wonderful, it may be a good idea to keep a dream diary for you to look back on.

Your memory will start to fail you!

Not only will you lose things, alot! You will soon become incapable of finishing your sentences. I don’t know what it is, but something happens to our memories when we become pregnant! Enjoy your short term memory while it lasts.

The bump doesn’t just magically go away!

I’m sorry to say that the baby bump doesn’t just magically go away, it takes some time for your body to go back to normal. I personally had visions of it deflating like a beach ball. Also when people tell you, ‘Eat whatever you like while you’re pregnant, you’ll lose everything once the baby is born.’ Don’t listen!

Thick shiny hair comes at a price!

Yes being pregnant DOES come with the added bonus of thick luscious hair, but don’t get too excited! I know lots of us didn’t expect to see said hair growing all over our bodies in places we’ve never seen before. Facial and body hair may grow faster when you’re pregnant, possibly because of an increase in hormones called androgens. Great!

I hope this hasn’t scared you too much! Just keep your eyes on the end product ladies.
