Alexa Can Be Your 'Breastfeeding Friend'

If you’re tech-savvy enough to own an Amazon Echo*, Spot* or Dot* – and you’ve opted to breastfeed – then all the help and advice you need could be available with a simple voice command!

The ‘Breastfeeding Friend’, developed by Start4Life (a Public Health England initiative), is available to enable on your device from the Amazon store (click here* to enable it for free).

Once you’re up and running, if you ever experience any breastfeeding difficulties such as sore nipples – or you want some advice on diet etc – all you have to do is activate your Breastfeeding Friend with simple commands such as ‘Alexa, open Breastfeeding Friend’ or ‘Alexa, ask Breastfeeding Friend for a quick tip’.

All the information provided is NHS-approved and based on questions asked by thousands of new mums too!

So if you’re struggling to breastfeed – and you have an Echo*, Spot* or Dot* – you can rest assured that, day or night, you have access to quality tips and advice to help you through.
