BLW Idea: Not So Dodgey Jammy Dodgers!

This healthier take on jammy dodgers is GENIUS! The recipe is so simple and so much healthier than typical sweet snacks like Jammy Dodgers, with very little preparation or faffing needed. You could give these as a snack or a dessert!

J A M M Y || D O D G E R S🍓 …. These were such a hit when I last made them and so many of you started remaking this recipe I decided to try my hand at making a video especially for my takeover on @easyhealthykids Page today! It’s by far from perfect so any tips! But regardless so hope you enjoy it! This is such an easy recipe and a great twist on the biscuit we know and love but a healthier version! So these ‘not so dodgey jammy dodgers’ are a great healthy alternative perfect for a breakfast/snack!😍🤤 . . All you need for the jam: ▫️ 1/2 cup raspberries ▫️ 1 tbsp chia seeds ▫️ 1 tsp vanilla extract Jam method: ▫️ add all the ingredients to a bowl and mash, leave to sit while making the base ~ this will allow the chia seeds to soak in the juice and make the ‘jam consistency’ . . . All you need for the base is: 🔺 1/3 cup rolled oats 🔺 1 banana 🔺 1 tbsp coconut oil 🔺 1 tbsp peanut butter* Method: 🔻 add all the ingredients to a bowl and mash! 🔻 scoop the mixture into a tray with grease proof paper into ‘cookie’ shapes then using the back of the spoon press down the centre to create a dip 🔻 preheat the oven to 180oC and place tray into oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden 🔻 allow time to cool then add ‘jam’ mixture & enjoy! *peanut butter is optional and can be removed if desired . .
