BLW Idea: Smoothie Bites
This BLW breakfast idea is so clever; it’s healthy and wholesome but also delicious and filling. The bites are the perfect size for BLW (baby-led weaning)!
Thought up by Lindsay from Our BLW Journey, we have to say that we’re super impressed. You can find the recipe below…

B R E A K F A S T – Smoothie bites🍓🍌 …. These have always been a hit with T! From a young age I started to freeze smoothies to help his teething and just as something different for him to have, and he loves them! You can make these using any smoothie mix – also great for Turing into nice cream! . . Ingredients: ▫️ 2 frozen bananas ▫️ handful or frozen raspberries ▫️ some blueberries ▫️ 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt (or coconut to make it #veganrecipe) Method: 1) take the raspberries out the freezer and allow to defrost slightly 2) put all the ingredients into the blender and mix 3) evenly spoon the mix into cupcake cases and put into the tray 4) top with some fruit if desired and then pop into the freezer overnight ready for breakfast in the morning! (Or for a few hours until frozen!) . . This is such a great little recipe! Will you be using it for those left over smoothie mixes?? . . 👶🏼 these are suitable from 6 months however I would recommend making little drops instead as babies will find it hard to hold when it’s so cold! … ❄️ suitable for freezing for up to a month (ours never last this long) ——————————————————— #blwrecipe #easyrecipe #blwbreakfast #teethingremedies #kidsfoodart #kidsfoodideas #mumandbaby #blw #funrecipe #mumrecipe #busymom #smoothie #droolclub #foodphotography #leftovers #veganrecipes #whatifeedmykid #toddlersnack #toddlerside #teething #dairy #healthyeating #healthyfoodmadefun #cleaneating #cleaneatingrecipe #colourfulplate #momlife #mummblogger #foodie
