Our Top 5 Travel Systems!
I know from personal experience how stressful it is to choose ANYTHING for your baby! Finding the perfect travel system, one that ticks every box, but doesn’t break the bank, is a total nightmare.
Too much choice! Where do we even begin?!
So, I thought that it would be handy to have a chat with the ladies in our private group and get an idea of our top 5 most popular travel systems to help you mummies to get prepared with as little stress as possible!
I hope that this helps! 🙂
Cosatto Giggle 2
The Cosatto Giggle 2 was our number one travel system choice during the voting session in our private group, and I can see why!
This price includes the stroller, carseat worth £155, carrycot, apron, raincover, changing mat, and changing bag!
It comes in a huge variety of patterns and colours, which can be selected on the page (click image for source) and range in price from £499.95 to £598.95.
The Giggle 2 is so popular for a few reasons; the vibrant colours and funky patterns, the sturdiness and ease of steering, and the fact that the system was a 2016 Mother and Baby Awards Gold winner! The compact fold is also a people-pleaser.
Silvercross Wayfarer
Silvercross always goes down well; a very well known and old brand name that has stood the test of time and remains resoundingly one of the most popular and well known brands. The name evokes images of quality and luxury, and the wayfarer certainly doesn’t let down in those departments!

This is currently £649 at Pramworld and includes parts that you’d need to pay for separately elsewhere! Click for source.
The quality is what makes Silvercross so popular; users of this travel system laud the excellent quality of the design and materials used. The overall look is simple but stylish, and the pram itself is ‘ultra-lightweight’.
The downside, I have found, is that you have to mess around purchasing additional elements for the system such as extra colour packs and the car seat which is a pain in the bum! With the pictured system (click for source), it comes with the wayfarer, simplicity car seat, pram bag and a liner which makes life waaaay easier, especially when you have a million other things on your plate! Sadly it is only available in ‘sand’ at Pramworld, but you can usually locate second-hand colour packs relatively cheaply online.
This system has four wheel suspension, meaning it ensures a smooth ride for your baby, and ease of use over different types of terrain – suitable for mummies who walk lots!
Venicci
Wooooowzer; this is a beautiful looking travel system! Smart and sleek yet substantial.
Compatible with Maxi Cosi, Pebble and Pebble Plus, this system is very versatile as well as gorgeous-looking.
Mums say that this pram is very padded and luxuriant for babies – extra cosy!
This particular pram only comes in monochrome colours, but Venicci do a large range of travel systems in various colours if you were wanting something more vibrant.
The carry car seat is both ISOFIX and seatbelt secured, so if you don’t have an ISOFIX compatible car, you can still use the carseat. The tyres also detach if your car boot is fairly compact.
Oyster
The Oyster travel system looks very ‘futuristic’ and is fabulous in terms of quality and comfort.
Oyster tends to be a really popular brand due to their focus on quality, and simple yet modern designs.
The large shopping basket and ‘smoothness’ of pushing due to really good suspension gets this travel system lots of praise. It would suit a mum who walks a lot!
This system (click for source) comes with accessories including a matching footmuff and changing bag at Pramworld!
The system also has lockable wheels, which is handy for slippy surfaces.
Mothercare Journey (previously the Roam but discontinued and replaced with the Journey)
And last but not least – well, except in terms of price, that is – the Mothercare Journey! This travel system is the cheapest of our top 5 but certainly not lacking in features and quality! This system is probably the most simple too. The seat unit is easily convertible from a lie-flat mode into pushchair mode, and is both parent and forward facing. Mums love the simplicity, yet fab quality of the Journey, and say that it is extremely easy to manoeuvre. The wheels can be quickly removed if you’re struggling for boot space in your car.
I hope that this helped you to narrow down your choices of travel system! ❤️
Love from Katie! Xx
