Product Review: Chad Valley Sand & Water Table
Summer is upon us!
Time to open those sheds, drag out garden toys and have a blast in the meagre amount of sunshine we get in the UK!
For those looking for a great value for money toy that will keep their young’uns happy for the duration of this warm spell, you can’t go wrong with the Chad Valley Sand and Water Table!
This toy combines the quintessential sandpit with an activity table, creating a versatile toy that promotes standing and walking, sensory, social and imaginative play, and means you won’t need to hose sand off your toddler as you would with a traditional sandpit!
The Chad Valley Sand and Water Table is a standing activity table, divided half and half for sand and water.
Included are a spade, rake and and a dish for some fun sand play!
The lid is flat allowing for easy storage, and meaning it can double as a play table too.
It is suitable for children from the age of 3 upwards, and costs £21.99 from Argos.
Reviews from the Argos website are predominantly very positive with particular focus on the durability of the table, the compact size, and the many hours that their little ones spend having fun! A few people have had issues with parts missing from the box though so as a heads up to anyone who buys the table, it may be worth checking in store that the parts are all there.
Size: small and unobtrusive, allows for social play but doesn’t take up too much space and easy to store in the corner. Flat lid can be used as a table.
Aesthetic: brightly coloured, fun-looking, attractive to young children.
Educational: promotes social, sensory and imaginative play which are all fab for cognitive development.
Value for money: in the 2 for £30 range at Argos, perfect if you’re buying for a birthday!
Entertainment factor: comes with accessories, which saves a few quid and saves you making a separate purchase.
Love from Katie! xx
