We often forget how important it is to have time for ourselves.
Motherhood is the kind of journey where we learn to be selfless, kind, motivated, patient, loving and so much more.
Unfortunately, a lot of the time we do so much for our husbands, our kids, our parents etc but we forget to take care of ME. A healthy lifestyle can promote a healthy mind. A happy mum is a happy baby. Even when you don’t think you deserve to have peace, you do.
Go to the yoga class, get a massage, treat yourself to that nice handbag and chill.
Sometimes I have serious “mum guilt” but then I remember how much I need to be in a good mental state to be the best mum I can be! So today I’ll say “namaste” and get my stretch on at yoga.
