Thanks to the research done by The Lullaby Trust, forming the foundation of their safer sleep advice, the number of babies who have passed from SIDS has dropped!
The rate of babies who heartbreakingly pass suddenly has decreased by a whopping 82% since the Back to Sleep message was launched in by The Lullaby Trust in 1991 – this is an enormous decrease and we are so proud of all that The Lullaby Trust has achieved in educating and empowering parents, and ultimately saving lives.
As the Lullaby Trust says… “Safer sleep saves babies lives. We need to make sure all parents receive advice on how to reduce the risk of SIDS”. We hope that this figure continues to drop, and we thank The Lullaby Trust for all that they do. Well done.
