by kloeforster

Ahh, some lovely news which you might have missed over the weekend – Sheridan Smith gave birth to a baby boy.

The actress who’s 38, shared her news with a photograph to her fans on Twitter. We got a glimpse of her newborn son’s tiny fingers already wrapped around hers. So lovely!

The photograph was captioned – ‘Our little man has arrived! We are both completely overwhelmed with love…’

This is the stars first baby with fiance Jamie Horn who is an insurance broker.

This morning Sheridan tweeted again to thank all of those who wished her well.

She said:

“I’d just like to say thank you so much! We have been so touched by all your lovely messages about the birth of our son. I’ve finally gotten round to reading all of them and am bowled over by everyone’s kindness. It means the world. Huge love to you all from the 3 of us!”

There’s still no announcement on little baby’s name yet – we can’t wait to hear what the new arrival is going to be called.

Sheridan is one of the nation’s favourite actresses – she has had leading roles in in hit ITV dramas such as Mrs Biggs and Cilla and has since been working on popular west end shoes such as Legally Blonde and Funny Girl.

Most recently, Sheridan featured in ITV’s Isolation Stories. She played the role of Mel, also heavily pregnant, who is self isolating due to coronavirus. Her husband Jamie took on the role of cameraman and did a great job!

Sheridan announcer her pregnancy back in October whilst performing on stage to a cruise ship audience. At the time she said: “I’ve got a baby on board,” with its due date expected to be spring 2020.

Congratulations to Sheridan and Jamie on their new arrival!

Lots of love,

Team Bump Baby and You xoxo
