Check Out The UK's Answer To Disneyland... Launching in 2024!

Adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers, you need to see this!

If you’ve visited Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and all of the other theme parks in the UK, we have some excellent news for you… a new theme park resort is set to open by 2024!

Known as The London Resort, it will consist of six islands and will feature rides based on children’s TV shows (Thunderbirds is one example). ITV bosses have signed a HUGE deal to be part of this incredible project, and we can’t wait to see it when it opens…

Estimated to be 535 acres big, it’ll open in Swanscombe, Kent, on a peninsula once used for cement works. It has been described as ‘one of the most ambitious theme park projects ever in Europe to be built from scratch ever since Disneyland Paris in 1992’ – this is definitely a great indication of what is to come!

The London Resort said: “The project will be one of the largest construction projects across Europe.

A multi-billion pound investment will transform seven million square meters of land, on the banks of the Thames, into one of the largest, immersive experience centres in the world.”

By 2029, it will be a two park resort, as once the first is opened a second area will be developed – how exciting! At the entrance there will be a Grand Plaza leading to a high street offering shops, hotels, restaurants, a waterpark and a convention meeting centre. We think that this will be excellent for weekends away, both with your kids and with just your partner!
