Meghan and Harry Share a Glimpse of Archie on his First Birthday

Happy first Birthday to little Archie! Meghan and Harry (who’s behind the camera) have shared a lovely little glimpse of baby Archie in order to raise funds for Save The Children.

In the video, Meghan reads Archie’s favourite book which is called ‘Duck! Rabbit’ to Archie, who is sitting comfortably on her knee.

Archie is dressed in a plain white vest and looks super adorable! He even gives a few little giggles and is clearly attempting to babble along with his mummy as she reads. At one point Harry and Meghan both chuckle as Archie drops one of his books on the floor.

Meghan affectionately calls Archie “Arch” as she reads.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are helping Save The Children to raise urgent funds for their coronavirus appeal.

There are lots of other celebrities getting involved with reading for this cause too. Just take a look at the hashtag #SAVEWITHSTORIES

A statement on the Save The Children Website reads as follows:

“The coronavirus crisis is hitting children hard – the most vulnerable children hardest of all. That’s why we’re acting quickly to give them the support they need around the world and here in the UK.

But we can’t do it without your support. Help us protect a generation from COVID-19.

Your support will help keep children alive, protected and learning. If we act fast, communities will be prepared and resilient and we can help families get through this.”

We think this is a gorgeous gesture of Harry and Meghan to raise awareness of this urgent appeal on little Archie’s first birthday.

We hope you have a wonderful day Sussex family!

The Save With Stories campaign was launched in the US by Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams and is led in the UK by Poppy Delevigne, every donation to Save with Stories will help raise urgent funds for the children and families who’ve been hardest hit by the coronavirus crisis, both in the UK and around the world.
