Gigil was established in 2017 when their founders announced that they were expecting their first baby. Concerned that their daughter was coming into a world without enough sustainable options, they started creating sleepsuits and clothing that were made from 100% organic cotton, eventually moving into changing bags and other baby products for planet-loving parents.

Gigil aim to use the highest quality and most sustainable materials available, which is why they've sourced the best vegan leather for their range of bags. The manufacturing process for their vegan leather is 'substantially eco-friendlier than with animal leather'. It turns out that vegan leather is cheaper than real leather to produce which gives you, the customer, greater value for money when buying a Gigil changing bag. Every bag is also fitted with YKK zips which reduces the chance of zips breaking out and about - nobody needs nappies, wipes and baby cream falling all over the place!
The Gigil Guarantee
Gigil believe that the quality of their changing bags should last and that is why each Gigil item comes with a one-year warranty; not many brands offer this, and we think that this could be a game changer. All you need is valid proof of purchase, and they are happy to exchange all items that have manufacturing faults up to one year. It's worth nothing that the Gigil guarantee does not restart again if you have received a replacement bag, it starts at the date of the original purchase. It doesn't cover accidental damage or wear and tear - zips that have worked for 6 months also will be classed as wear and tear or misuse, rather than a manufacturing defect. Gigil put so much emphasis on product quality that it is highly unlikely that you'll experience any issues but can be rest assured that they'll be helpful if you do.

What postage options do Gigil offer?
Gigil say that they will dispatch all orders the very same day when placed before 3:00pm Monday-Friday. They do not ship on weekends or Bank Holidays. Their free delivery option is fulfilled by Royal Mail who are currently having issues with international deliveries but watch this space!
