It’s time to get excited folks. Britains favourite bakery chain, Greggs, will be re-opening 800 of their stores this week!
I can almost smell those sausage rolls already…
Greggs trialled reopening several of their stores earlier this month with new social distancing measures in place which seem to have been a huge success!
The 800 stores will be open for takeaway on Thursday June 18th. There will be floor markings in place to ensure social distancing measures are followed. There will also be protective screens at tills, PPE for all staff and more frequent additional clean down procedures than before.
Customers are reminded that payments will only be able to be made by card.
For the time being there is also going to be a reduced menu… so don’t be disappointed when you get there!
Why not find out if you have a store near you which will be open? The locations of the 800 stores are listed HERE.
Greggs closed all of its 2050 stores back in March after the Prime Minister’s Lockdown announcement.
We hope your local Greggs is on the list – but don’t worry if it’s not. Greggs are hoping to have all of their branches across the nation re-opened later in July. So keep your fingers and toes crossed.
Are you excited to see Greggs reopening on Thursday? Will you be popping in for a sandwich or a sausage roll? Let us know in the comments!
