If you love nothing more than putting the kids to bed, grabbing your snacks and settling down to tune into the latest episode of Love Island, this news might be right up your street.
Rumour has it, Love Island will be creating a SPIN-OFF show for middle-aged single mums and dads to be set up by their own children! The potential contestants will be in their 40s and 50s, with their own children having control over the couplings much to the titillation of viewers...
This news is proving popular amongst the legion of fans amassed by Love Island, many of whom have been asking for a more diverse cast selection for years now! We're thinking it'll be a refreshing change to see more mature singletons looking for love. The 'working title' is currently 'Your Mum, My Dad', with plans for this to air next year - that is, if it all goes to plan.
The source who leaked this news to The Sun said...
"Times change and the current generation in their 40s and 50s still care about how they look, are fit and healthy, into fashion and are ready to let their hair down. This show will give those who settled down young a second chance at love while they still feel in their prime."

Our verdict...
We absolutely love the sound of a 'grown up' Love Island - the twist of the contestant's children having control over matches and scheming behind the scenes is hilarious and will hopefully have some wonderful, and of course romantic, endings. It'll certainly be more relatable, as mummies and daddies ourselves!
