Elon Musk and his partner Grimes have announced their babies name and if you’re looking for some ideas we have a feeling it’s probably not going to leave you feeling too inspired…
The new little arrival will be called X Æ A-12 Musk.
Hmm, we’re not quite sure how to pronounce this one! When asked by someone on Twitter whether it could be ‘X Ash Archangel’, Musk liked the comment, so there’s potentially a little clue as to how it could sound.
Definitely don’t think this unusual name will be found on the most popular baby names list any time soon though… do you?
Elon shared a lovely picture of the newborn on Twitter yesterday. The Space X CEO Tweeted “Mom & baby all good”.

Little baby Musk looks absolutely adorable snuggled up in daddies arms! Just out of shot you can see that Elon is holding a protective face mask too.
Elon’s partner, Canadian singer, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher explained the meaning behind the new arrivals name on Twitter:
•X, the unknown variable ⚔️
•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)
•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent 🤍

There are questions arising as to whether the name will be able to be registered on the birth certificate. It’s been reported that Baby Musk was born in California. If this is the case, rules there stipulate that no pictographs, ideograms and diacritical marks for example è, ñ, ē, ç can be used when registering a birth and that names must consist of the 26 letters of the alphabet.
What do you think of the name? Will you be giving your little one something unusual like this?
