Soon they had launched CSN Stores, which was a group of more than 200 websites with everything kind of furniture and home decoration that you could imagine available to browse and purchase.
Then in 2011, Niraj and Steve collated this selection of furniture websites and created Wayfair, the website we know and love today!
Choosing 'Wayfair' simply because the two words go well together, they spent the next few years expanding to Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Ireland whilst growing a logistics and infrastructure network that can accomodate the shipping of large furniture more easily and speedily - no more waiting months for a new sofa. Finally, no matter where someone lived, they could order the furniture that they wanted, and not be restricted to a small selection in local stores, to create a home that fits their tastes and needs.
